The Harvard-Thorndike GCRC at
BIDMC
Facilities
The Harvard-Thorndike GCRC has 8 inpatient
beds, including 4 private rooms, as well as several outpatient rooms.
The GCRC has specialized equipment and
facilities for:

measurement
of body composition

ob/gyn examinations
-
cardiac studies
-
seizure monitoring
-
sleep studies
-
dental procedures
-
transcranial magnetic
stimulation
-
nasal electrical
potential testing
-
cognitive
testing
In
addition, the GCRC has a Core Laboratory which offers specialized assays to our
investigators. On the unit are inpatient and outpatient laboratories with
refrigerated, variable-speed centrifuges.
The
Harvard-Thorndike GCRC is funded by Grant M01 RR01032 from the NCRR, NIH
