CORE
LABORATORY
The CRC Core Lab consists of two separate
components, an immunoassay laboratory and a more specialized testing laboratory.
The immunoassay laboratory runs a variety of assays including:
The
specialized testing laboratory provides measurement of catecholamines by HPLC,
insulin, and free fatty acid. Additionally, the specialized laboratory
offers the purification of and determination of organic compounds using high
pressure liquid chromatography and gas chromatography and measurement of
microelements in biological fluid using atomic absorption spectroscopy.
The staff of the CRC Core Laboratory is available to meet with
you and discuss introduction of new assays and any needs you may have to meet
the needs of your study protocol.
Effective January 1, 2009 the Core Lab will be centralized at Brigham and Women's Hospital. More information will be provided later.
