Cardiology: Cardiac MRI as a diagnostic tool; cardiac effects of pollutants; therapies targeting cardiac inflammation.

Endocrinology: Leptin physiology; obesity pathophysiology and treatment; effect of dietary intervention on glucose metabolism; endothelial dysfunction in impaired glucose tolerance/diabetes mellitus; glycemic control in pregnancy.
