Support Information:  Academic and Research Computing (ARC) is an IS department dedicated to supporting the Education and Research communities.  Academic Computing supports all administrative activities associated with Research and Academic Affairs (R&AA) Department. 

We are organized into three groups: Desktop and User Support; Application Development and Informatics Support.  A short description of each service and contact information is shown below:

Users experiencing any difficulties with Research Administration desktops, ResearchSite applications or any computer hardware / technology related issues should contact our Support Desk at 617-667-8415 (Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM) or via email at research@bidmc.harvard.edu

Research data collection, analysis and/or storage

 Informatics
Group

Informatics support is currently limited to consultation and proposal review. We encourage researchers to contact Paul Zotov (Director of Informatics Core) to explore the possibility of including Informatics support in your grant or contract proposals. ResearchSite and all Research Administrative web pages are developed and supported by the Academic Computing Development Team.  Please report any problems with web pages or applications to our Support Desk (see above) so that we may enter and track your request. This will help us ensure that your issue is appropriately triaged and resolved.
