| Eosinophilic
folliculitis is a characteristic skin condition seen in patients
with advanced HIV disease. It frequently begins as a pruritic,
papular eruption that evolves into a weeping, crusting ulcer with
a hypertrophic margin and central healing. Its etiology is unknown.
Diagnosis is made by biopsy, and management consists of ultraviolet
B phototherapy. |
